| I've been playing guitar for 9 years. My technique is self taught, but my background in music is rooted in classical percussion. My percussion teachers include Rob Smith, Steve Craddy, Jim Barclay, and David Skidmore. I also took a music theory class in high school if that counts toward anything. My guitar influences are primarily John Petrucci and Tom Morello. My compositions are heavily influenced by Tool, Dream Theater, Rage against the machine, Phish, Echovision, Creed, Primus, A Perfect Circle, Blue Man Group, Pink Floyd, and a long list of one-hit-wonders. Snowboarding is great, I enjoy walking, I'm a total nerd and I love it, besides music I love physics, math, and everything I'm studying at school. My favorite video game is Marshmallow Duel: Reloaded. My childhood heroes were the Ninja Turtles. They were actually the first band I listend to (yes, they were a band). |
